Standard Operating Procedures

Equipment:

Long bows, Recurve Bows & Compound Bows with or without sights are legal. The bows can be shot either by fingers or mechanical release.

Arrows:

Only Field Point Tipped arrows are permitted. No Broad Heads will be allowed.

Procedures:

Each group of bowmen will appoint a scorer and he/she will also be the Safety Officer for that group. When someone is "down range" pulling or scoring targets, all bows will be either stored on the racks provided or on the ground. No one will pull arrows with a bow in hand. All bowmen will be sure everyone has returned from the target area before beginning to shoot again.

No Cross Bows will be allowed unless prior approval for use has been obtained from the Board of Directors of the Fort White Gun Club, Inc.
